I’ve been writing for many years, but up until recently, I never had a place to put my writings, beyond handing them off to friends. About two months ago, I decided that I wanted to share what I had written over the last decade with everyone.
Much of what I write is considered “stream of consciousness” or “Gonzo.” One of my idols, when I began taking writing seriously, was Hunter S. Thompson; in fact, I did my undergrad Senior Seminar on Gonzo Journalism, a mere two months before Hunter took his own life.
My life is built around travel and adaptation. Much of what I write will be of that theme. I am a philosophical person, so be prepared for existential slants in what I lay down. As I currently live in Taiwan, a lot of what I write will have a perspective of an expatriate in Asia – one who has moved from state-to-state and country-to-country 15 times in the last 25 years.
This quick note is simply to explain my purpose here, vaguely and ambiguously, and tell all my readership that I hope you enjoy what I’ve uploaded here, and the future of things to come.
Thank you for reading.
